PYROLEC has been operating within the fire safety industry since 2013. Over time, the company has evolved into a specialist fire safety remediation consultancy, while still retaining its foundations in traditional fire engineering services.
Our senior leadership team brings extensive experience from diverse backgrounds, including fire engineering and Building Control. This breadth of expertise enables us to deliver end-to-end solutions, supporting projects from initial design through to completion with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and practical delivery.

A Chartered Building Engineer and full member of the Institution of Fire Engineers, Jason specialises in assessing fire protection solutions for the built environment. His primary focus is developing compliant, practical solutions where manufacturers’ tested details do not align with real site conditions, ensuring safety, performance, and regulatory compliance.
Nick C.Build E MCABE TIFireE MIFSM
A Chartered Building Engineer and Technician Member of the Institution of Fire Engineers, Nick brings a strong background in Building Control. He leads on Building Regulations and Higher-Risk Building (HRB) compliance, while also developing fire strategies for new build projects, ensuring clear, practical, and fully compliant design solutions.
Paul BSc AIFireE
With a background in the fire and rescue service, construction, and more recently the manufacture of cavity barriers and fire stopping systems, Paul brings valuable practical expertise to the team. He provides specialist support to our clients, with a strong focus on fire remediation works, helping to deliver effective and compliant on-site solutions.
Tanya
Tanya is a Project Manager and key member of the technical team, playing a central role in driving projects forward. She also supports other members of the technical team by managing day-to-day back-office operations, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to deliver projects efficiently and to a high standard.
Emma
As General Manager, Emma supports the business by ensuring it remains financially robust and operates with strong governance. She oversees the implementation and maintenance of key policies and procedures, including ISO9001 and BAFE SP205, providing clients with confidence through recognised third-party assurance of our competence and operational capability.
Harry
With a strong background in the project management of structural engineering projects, Harry brings extensive expertise in delivering large, complex remediation programmes. He plays a key role in coordinating structural works, ensuring projects are managed efficiently, safely, and in line with regulatory requirements.
Hannah
A recent addition to the team, Hannah initially joined to support the technical team and has quickly progressed into producing 3D finite element modelling. Her work supports projects where manufacturers’ test data does not align with site conditions, helping to develop robust, compliant fire engineering solutions.
Laura
Laura is our Office Administrator, a role often perceived as entry level—but not at PYROLEC. She forms the foundation of the business, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of operations. From the initial quote, through coordination with the technical team, to final invoicing, Laura’s contribution underpins everything we do, providing essential support across the entire organisation.
Maisy
Providing support to Nick on fire strategies, Maisy is at the beginning of her fire engineering career. With a strong academic approach and an ability to quickly absorb information, she is a valuable and developing member of the team, contributing to the delivery of clear and effective fire strategy solutions.
